Grilled Buffalo Steaks

Grilled Buffalo Steaks


  • 4 medium bison steaks
  • Red wine garlic marinade:
  • 375 ml dry red wine
  • 75 g chopped onions
  • 4 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 10 ml Worcestershire Sauce
  • dried thyme, pepper
  • 125 ml cooking oil


  1. Soft tap bison steaks. Put all the remaining ingredients in a plastic box (big enough to fit the bison steaks later) and shake well.
  2. Put the meat in and shake well until the steaks are covered. Place in the fridge overnight, turn several times. Preheat the grill. Remove steaks from the marinade and pat dry and grill from each side for about 10 minutes (medium), with thicker steaks a little longer.
